Youth Ministries:

• EDGE

 St. Joseph’s Catholic Church offers our EDGE ministry to middle school students grades 6-8. We meet on Wednesday evenings twice a month from 6pm-8pm in FLC Room 2 and some nights in the St. Joseph’s School gym. Registration is available online or in person through the office.                Our Middle School Edge Youth program is centered around the missionary concept of ‘pre-evangelization’ within the context of Catholic Church teaching. Relationship building is critical in the lives of our youth, which is something our Lord demonstrated consistently throughout His ministry. Our goal with this program is to create an environment for students to come and build friendships, grow in understanding of their faith, and most importantly experience a real encounter with Jesus Christ.

               Youth nights typically involve games, skits, themed activities around holidays, food and drinks, worship music, bible study and prayer. We utilize Life Teen’s EDGE program as our curriculum and guide for sound Catholic teaching and incorporate lessons and music from other Catholic sources.
